At the core of our company is our proprietary technology.  We are seeking a Quality Analyst I to join the quickly expanding Technology Operations team.  The goal of the department is to solve business needs through our proprietary technology solutions.  We are constantly improving processes and efficiencies for our operations staff.  The primary focus of this position is to be an integrated quality resource for project teams on our biggest products. Anchor is an entrepreneurial company and this position will have significant impact on the future of the business and its technology solutions as we grow and expand our operations nationwide.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily meetings with a project team
  • Responsible for creating testing plans for new functionalities within an Agile-driven SDLC
  • Responsible for testing new functionalities within an Agile-driven SDLC
  • Document new functionalities and their touchpoints with legacy functionalities
  • Responsible for understanding impact of new functionalities on legacy functions
  • Responsible for assisting in deployment testing and production confirmation for new builds
  • Develop and execute test cases
  • Conduct training sessions for users and technology team members
  • Report to the department manager on project status

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Selenium, SmartBear or any front end automation framework is a plus
  • Understanding of the scrum and agile development process is a plus
  • Real Estate or Mortgage experience is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business and Process Analysis best practices, techniques and tools, and project management methodologies
  • Analytical and project management skills, including an understanding of how to interpret documented requirements, translate them into testing plans for new functionalities, and execute these plans for deployment testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer information systems or equivalent
  • Basic programming, development, or technical knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to think critically
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Ability to work with offshore team
